HASA-NSW is an independent and non-political organization, which was established, supported and financed by the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU), Slovenian organizations in NSW and some private benefactors. All work is carried out by unpaid  volunteers.

At HASA-NSW, we strive to locate, acquire, sort, catalogue and properly archive the historical data of Slovenians living in NSW (also other regions of Australia, if required).

We collect:

life stories

personal documents (birth, marriage, death certificates)

school reports, work achievements

letters, postcards

passports and immigration documents

audio and video material

various documents from Slovenian organizations

Remember: Whatever material you may have, it is important to have it preserved professionally in HASA- NSW archives as a record of Slovenian Heritage in Australia.
